Issue 2 | Autumn 2019 | Postbox Magazine
Info
Postbox is the magazine of Postbox Press, the literary fiction imprint of Red Squirrel Press publishing short story pamphlets and collections, novellas and novels.
Writer and musician Colin Will is Editor of both Postbox and Postbox Press.
‘Issue One of Postbox was received positively. I’d like to thank everyone who contributed, read at the launch, attended, purchased copies there and via the website. Orders were received from as far afield as Scandinavia, Europe, the US and the Far East which is great because of course, as well as short story writers, we need readers. I feel there is more need than ever for hard copy short story magazines and hope to help to reverse the trend of the declining number of publications. If you received a copy as a contributor or purchased a copy and liked it, please tell your friends and encourage them to buy a copy. Hopefully, your friends will then tell their friends…and that’s how the short story magazine world goes round. If you’ve finished with your copy, please don’t place it in a recycling bin, leave it in the waiting room next time you visit your dentist, GP or optician and allow it to be read and recycled in a slightly different manner. I hope you enjoy Issue 2.’
